One of our projects in Visual Communication III was to redesign an existing packaging design and create a booklet detailing our findings. I chose to redesign L'Oreal Paris' Excellence Creme Hair Dye. Hair dye is notoriously known for having less than appealing packaging with little diversity.
With my redesign, I wanted to get rid of the negative stigma of aging, as well as focus more on the hair instead of the model. I also made the packaging more neutral, so it could appeal to any age group or audience.
